Just watching TV and films plus some video game playing is not the end of the road… This sucker *55WX800U* has WiFi built-in and is able to access Net TV which includes all the Internet goodies you love like YouTube, Facebook, Pandora, and just about anywhere you want to go. Oh, and do you see how fricken thin the Toshiba 55WX800U is? Sticks out about 2 1/2 inches form the wall. Plus it has a media player for your SD card or USB connection to view pics and videos from your camera… on 55 inches of madness!
OK, so with all this good has to come some bad right? Again, this is my opinion so take it as you will. Plasma is better for 3D, but this LED can keep up no problem. The remote is actually pretty good, Toshiba’s always have neat remotes. That’s about it. To be honest nothing on the Toshiba 55WX800U TV sucks. Great brand, GREAT price, and loaded like a Lexus… Click the link below for even more info.

All LCD Toshiba Flat Screen TV’s – Save your money for a better brand. First, one line of dead pixels across the bottom, 3 months later then two. About the same time, the sound started degrading. Two more months, now flickering; top half screen dark, bottom bright – flicker, flicker. A total waste of money. I have had two Toshiba laptops and was impressed with the build, and even a Toshiba 32” Tube TV lasted 8 years, not too bad. – Apparently the LCD-TV division quality is sub-par at best. Big issues with the screens. Save yourself the aggravation. Less than 2.5 years of use. No support from the factory after warrantee.
Surprised by that Gary, Toshiba’s are usually solid performers. Hope they are not getting cheap! I would think that most new TV’s are not made to last 20 yrs like tellys of the past. They want them to break so the consumer will keep buying. If all manufactures think this way (and many are), then what are we to do?
